Happy Ambition Day...Today is a great day for music! DC's own Wale dropped his second album "Ambition" today 11.1.11, he built up quite the anticipation for this album with his recent sign to Maybach Music Group. So much love was shown throughtout the DMV and across the world for this album. Wale has truly grown as an artist and it is evident that he makes music that not only natives of DC, Maryland and Virginia can appreciate but for everyone. In the spirit of love for his fans, Wale stopped by the DTLR at the Boulevard, in Largo, Maryland to sign CD's to show his appreciation.

Maybach Music

During this pass weekend Wale had good news to share, he announced via twitter that is has signed to Maybach Music Group. However is still signed to ROC Nation under the management of Jay-Z, he also will still have full involvement with the label/entertainment company The Board Administration with artist such as Black Cobain & Fat Trel.

Wale will now be able to express his musical talent more freely, bringing more hits home to represent the DMV.

Wale's "Pretty Girl" Video

DC's own Wale appeared on BET's 106 & Park yesterday to premiere his "Pretty Girl" video. With a lot of excitement and enthusiasm Wale was comfortable at the 106 studio.Rocsi got him to talk about "that thing" and that he did. He went into a little more detail so that fans and viewers could understand exactly what "that thing" is. He spoke about Valentine's Day being the day to celebrate "that thing" with that special someone. So hopefully you have "that thing" on deck. Enjoy the video!!

When I think about good, fun music Wale comes to mind, the more I watch him the more I become interested in the person that he is. Wale appeared on "The Monique Show" last night on BET. He sat on the couch and talked about his experiences, going from a college football player at Virginia state. To leaving college to pursue his music career, when he meets Jay-Z and Mr. Carter takes him under his wing. He then elaborates on that thing, known to all of us as the four letter word LOVE.
