BET's The Game is returns with an action pack cast on January 10, 2012, with Raquel Robinson (Tasha Mack), Tia Mowry-Hardrict (Melanie "Med School" Davis), Pooch Hall (Derwin Davis), Hosea Sanchez (Malik Wright) and Coby Bell Jason Pitts), Brittany Daniel (Kelly Pitts took person time off, but will be returning to the show soon) Barry Floyd (Tee Tee), Gabrielle Dennis ff(Janay), PJ Byrne (Irv Smiff). This season the celebrities schedule to appear are Brandy Norwood, DeeRay Davis, Estelle, Loretta Devine,NeNe Leakes, Rockmond Dunbar and Selita Eubanks and so much. It's GAME time!!

Tracee Ellis Ross covers the front of this magazine so effortlessly, you got to love her. Her hair (which I love), her style and her iconic mom Diana Ross, she's the epitome of classic beauty. Tracee is gearing up for the season premiere of "Reed Between The Lines" with co-star Malcolm Jamal Warner. In this issue of JET she talks about the new show, her beautiful JET refers to it as the FAB Fro) and her rumored Beau (that's going to be juicy news if they get her to open up). I'm glad Mrs. Franklin is out of the hospital and doing well. I will have my tissues ready to catch my tears. Tune in at midnight on BET.

GAME ON!!!!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I'm screaming because I am excited "The Game" was finally picked up by BET and that it's going to be in my line up of shows to watch on Tuesday's (Bravo's been getting my attention with Tabatha Salon Takeover). Reality shows have taken over the airways and I'm glad that BET found a sitcom that is really worth it. I am guilty of not watching it when it was on UPN/CW Network, I was in college and was just too busy to even watch TV let alone remember when this show was coming on.

Starting next week I'm going to be tuned in to this show...I'm super excited! Tune in on Tuesday at 10 p.m. to "The Game" on BET. I'm having a "The Game" party at my place and I will be tweeting the excitement, I hope this show is an hour! But that might be a stretch, #imjustsayin!

Women's History Month BET are hosting a Leading Women Empower Me Session today at Dunbar High School were Dorothy Height speaks, also in attendance is Tatyana Ali. This event was organized to empower, motivate, and strengthen independence in women of all ages. What better place to do it than right in the heart of the city at Dunbar High School.

Wale's "Pretty Girl" Video

DC's own Wale appeared on BET's 106 & Park yesterday to premiere his "Pretty Girl" video. With a lot of excitement and enthusiasm Wale was comfortable at the 106 studio.Rocsi got him to talk about "that thing" and that he did. He went into a little more detail so that fans and viewers could understand exactly what "that thing" is. He spoke about Valentine's Day being the day to celebrate "that thing" with that special someone. So hopefully you have "that thing" on deck. Enjoy the video!!

Wale talks about that thing

When I think about good, fun music Wale comes to mind, the more I watch him the more I become interested in the person that he is. Wale appeared on "The Monique Show" last night on BET. He sat on the couch and talked about his experiences, going from a college football player at Virginia state. To leaving college to pursue his music career, when he meets Jay-Z and Mr. Carter takes him under his wing. He then elaborates on that thing, known to all of us as the four letter word LOVE. He also talks about it in HONEYMAG http://http//www.honeymag.com/2010/uncategorized/go-go-answer-wale/, this article gives you a look into how educated he is and how in touch with words he can be.

Rappers in a sense are like poets, they know how to manipulate words and in a conscience way.In the article in HONEYMAG you will see just that, it speaks truths.Wale is shining a light on the DMV(D.C., Maryland, and Virginia) and representing it very well.
