Last weekend during all of Howard's Homecoming festivities I stopped past Jin Lounge at a chic event "Manicure's and Martinis" to see what it was all about. I am always up for attending feminine events that gives the woman a chance to just be a woman. Manicures and Martinis was the perfect event for that, although it was open to men and woman the women were very eager to try new nail colors and the new it thing "Gel Polish". I spoke with the organizer of the event and Owner of Nails L.A. Style Patricia Patton about how she started in the nail industry, what her nitch is, how she came up with the name "Manicures and Martinis" and just some good ol' girl talk. Alexander Wang for Sally Hansen

Great news! Fashion Designer Alexander Wang will partner with Sally Hansen for a new Fall Nail Color. This nail color will debut at this year's New York Fashion Week Spring Collection. I wonder what the nail color name will be "Up Up and A Wang" or "Alexander Wangland"
or "Oh My Wang". We shall see what cometh of the nail color names,stay tuned nail color lovers.

Nail Color is....

Sally Hansen

I saw the commercial for this nail color last Thursday and I almost had a cow, I could not believe someone finally made a nail color that did more than just producing a nail color. Sally Hanson has went above and beyond with their new Sally Hanson Complete Salon Manicure. It is to die for, I absolutely love it! The nail color at the top (the grey like purple color, it called Commander in Chic) is the color I wore this Friday for my Birthday and the festivities. I will definitely be buying more colors from this line of colors. I couldn't be more happy it's a 5 inn 1 bottle (Base Coat, Strengthener, Nail Treatment, Color and Top Coat) and it dried within five minutes without messing up! I lovvvvvveeee it!!
