Last Tuesday The Fab Empire honored some of Washington D.C.'s night life movers at Recess Lounge. The event was hosted by DC Fab Joi- Marie McKenzie and sponsored by Belevedre music filled the room with DJ Heat spinning.

The Fab Awards honored those who have devoted a decade of service to nightlife and the award goes to: Taz Wube, Mitch Mathis, Fisayo Esconsay, Cheeky Sasso.

Other area most recognized were the in attendance in support of the awards such as: Anji Corley of WPGC 95.5, Victoria "Shaqwana" Jones of the Russ Parr Morning Show (WKYS 93.9), Dean Smothers owner of Love Nightclub, Jummy Olabanji anchor and report of WKTR News Channel 3.

Diva Lounge will be held tonight at Policy honoring "Fearless Females" and their contribute to Washington D.C. Honorees are Allyson Leakes, Joi-Marie McKenzie, Dawn Richard, Yodit Gebreyes. Hosted by Sirius XM Radio Shayna D and singer Paula Campbell. It will ONLY be open for ladies from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and from 10p.m. until 1 a.m. the men are welcomed to join the after party.
