Neyo Compound Toy Drive

Singer/Songwriter/Actor Neyo has been spreading some Christmas cheer this holiday season with his non-profit Neyo Compound Foundation Toy Drive Tour. The Neyo Compound toured to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Washington, DC partnering with Boys and Girls Club of America. I was in attendance when the tour came to Washington, DC, I volunteered with my church (Community of Hope A.M.E) our youth ministry help with passing out gifts, serving food and helping to put a smile on the face of a child who is less fortunate than them.

While I was there I ran into Jasmine of TheJasmineBrand, we chatted for a second after her interview with Neyo. This Toy Drive was one of the most gratifying experiences of my life, I love children and I respect the fact that celebrities take the time to give back. During the packing, and giving away I made small talk with different women and children but one of those women happen to be Neyo's fiance' and mother of his two children. My pastor says you never know who you are sitting next to (in this case talking to) Mo was very nice and a beautiful person. She not only just traveled to be along side her beau she volunteered as well which says a lot about the type of woman she is.

Children are our future and their happines is most impotant!

Laundry Day Donation Tee's

It's the season of giving and what better way to give than to be stylish while doing so. Laundry Day Brand has a new item that will benefit a non-profit organzation The Fellas Youth Foundation. This donation t-shirt is in collaboration with Hardly Humane, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Fellaz Youth Organization from November 1st - 30th.

This past Saturday Tyga of Young Money, Cash Money stopped by the Kennedy Recreation Center in Washington, DC to speak with the youth about their dreams, goals and aspirations. R.O.A.R which is Tyga's empowerment campaign that is focused on giving back to the community. This visit brought bout a surprise when Tyga gave away 15 tickets to the F.A.M.E. concert. There were three guest speakers that were in attendance April L. Vance White House Liaison- Executive Office of the US President, President and Founder – Advance Project), Dr. Bilal Beckles DDS, MS- owner of Essence Dental Care, Woodrow Dental Specialist and Smiles Pediatric Dentistry and Victor T. Sanders CEO of Palmieri Jeans.The guest speakers motivated the youth and helped them to realize that their dreams can one day be a reality.
