I was in total and utter shock upon reading the news about Yvette Wilson losing her battle to cervical cancer. She was most known for her role on "Moesha" as Andell and the "Parkers" by the same character name. One of my favorite portrayal of hers was that of her character in "Friday"as Smokey (Chris Tucker) blind date, it was that movie that gave her a platform to jump start her career in comedy. She was a beautiful woman and it would have been refreshing to see her in more sitcoms and movies. My condolences goes out to her family, close friends and cast mates, may her soul rest peacefully.
