This spread has been receiving all types of crazy reviews and it's ridiculous to me. I absolutely love that she did this spread to show her appreciation of her ethnicity. It was a dedication to Fela Kuti a Nigerean musican and pioneer. Yes black face has such bad connotations back in the early 1900's, however that is not what this magazine is trying to convey. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and emotions but somethings are not worth being upset over. Enjoy this work of art! What are your thoughts on this?
