Black History Icon

The Supremes an American female group who were signed to Motown in the 1960's, they have sold over 100 million records to date. When they were first formed they were known as the Primettes, sing in music genres such as pop, soul, doo-wop, R&B and disco. The Supremes became the first black female performers to embrace the feminine image.

Most noted songs are: Baby Love, You Can't Hurry Love, Stoned Love. The Supreme name always remained but it's not the same for members, members joined the group and left the group until the groups end. The ultimate leave was when the honorable Diana Ross left in 1970 because of label disputes and royalties.
