I have recently became a fan of the sitcom The Game (wishing it was in my life sooner) and I am ready for season four(4) to begin. As I was searching for more information on "The Game" I found out that it is a spin-off show of Girlfriends (which is another one of my favorite shows) and that the creator is a female. Mara Brock Akil is an accomplished writer and her writing skills are displayed in Girlfriends and The Game. She is not shy of working in Hollywood, Mara has also worked on shows such as Moesha and South Central and she was the supervising producer on The Jamie Foxx Show. Yesterday as I was on twitter, I follow @BETTHEGAME and they tweeted to their followers:

Mara Brock Akil

Black sitcom shows are few to none, we really need more sitcom shows on television. By now Black sitcom shows should be evolving and not dying. If you are a fan like I am and you are on twitter tweet @StephenHill and ask what's going on with the show and if BET could start showing the new episodes of The Game .
