MUSIC is definitely at its best when done LIVE not to many people understand that, which I pretty much think is a shame. Yes it is very expensive that's why alot of artist and new artist don't tour right away because they have to establish a budget for a band, and equipment..things of that nature. LIVE MUSIC is one of the LOVE's of my LIFE. Whether on stage, indoors or outdoors, underground at the metro station or even my school's MARCHING BAND, it still is the best way to hear MUSIC!! LIVE MUSIC is by far my favorite!!
Look how fortunate D.C. is they actually have over 20 GO-GO Bands who play Live MUSIC very often not to mention all of the other LIVE musicians floating around the DMV. Only thing about GO-GO is that it's not on a worldwide spectrum were other people can listen and enjoy it. It's kinda like going out of town and seeing something or eating something that you know that you don't have at home in your hometown, and everytime you go visit it's like yes that's what I have been missing. However not alot of people get with it. It creative and rare, nevertheless it's still LIVE MUSIC. I LOVE IT....just embrace it, that's the only way to except it!!
Yeah I've almost taken a vow to never pay to see just an artist. I need music something to feel other then their voice. Of course, like anybody, I have my exceptions because of their greatness (Jay-Z, Nas, Common, Lil Wayne?, and a few more). Go-Go was what really opened my eyes to live music @ the age of about 7. I was hooked ever since. Being a true fan of Go-go gives you a different perspective on everything you hear...
